All Elite Wrestling delivered a star-studded show with AEW Dynamite Business on March 13.
Among other matches, Samoa Joe defended the AEW World Championship against Wardlow. Plus, The Elite faced Eddie Kingston, PAC, and Penta El Zero Miedo.
The results are as follows:
Renee Paquette kicks off the show. A Mercedes-Benz pulls up, but the person inside is not shown. The announcers hype up the card.
Mercedes Moné Arrives IN AEW
Some new music plays, and it is revealed to be Mercedes Moné. She comes to the ring. The fans chant “CEO”, and she is clearly overcome with emotion. Mercedes says she is home, and her heart is beating out of her chest. She thanks the fans for having her back and giving her the courage and strength to be here.
Moné says she will make plenty of magic, and she thanks the fans again. She says tonight means a lot to her, and wrestling means a lot to her. Mercedes says wrestling has changed her life. She names Eddie Guerrero as she says he helped her see that she could do this one day. Mercedes reflects on leading a women’s evolution. She reflects on her past success and her road up to this point. Mercedes says she needs to be here, and she wants to be here.
She calls AEW the only place where this revolution can be global, and “we” are going to make that happen. Mercedes looks forward to mixing it up with the roster. She calls out Willow Nightingale and says they have unfinished business. Mercedes says she is “All Elite”. She thanks Tony Khan and the fans and calls herself the new CEO.
Samoa Joe Defends The Gold
In an interview, AEW World Champion Samoa Joe previews his upcoming match against Wardlow and says Wardlow is overdue, as he owes him a debt. Joe declares that he doesn’t lose titles at the TD Garden.
In a taped message, Adam Cole is shown reading a book. He reads a story about Wardlow that highlights his road up to this AEW promo. He says Wardlow was missing a kingdom of brethren, and he found one in the Undisputed Kingdon. Cole calls Wardlow a dominant beast and says he will slay the beast to complete the prophecy.
AEW World Championship: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Wardlow (with Undisputed Kingdom)
Wardlow takes the fight to Joe and drives him into the barricade. Joe tries to rally, but Wardlow slams him. Wardlow continues to control the action. Joe drills him with a series of strikes. Joe drops Wardlow with a back elbow. The champion keeps rolling with a flurry of blows. Wardlow takes Joe down with a dive off the top rope. They trade shots, and Wardlow gains the upper hand. He continues to control the action and gets a two-count with a shoulder block.
Joe rallies, and the two powerhouses trade blows. Wardlow seemingly fakes a knee injury to lure Joe in and gouges his eyes. He drills Joe with a knee strike and gets a two-count. Joe evades a senton and punches Wardlow in the corner, but Wardlow powerbombs him. Joe again counters a powerbomb and goes for the Coquina Clutch. He locks it in, and Wardlow passes out.

Swerve Strickland fights off some security guards and comes to the ring, but Joe leaves.
Alex Marvez tries to interview The Elite (Kazuchika Okada and The Elite). The Young Bucks say Okada’s passport says “The Rainmaker” on it, so he should be shown respect. Matthew Jackson highlights their synergy and their friendship. Okada says he’s coming for Penta El Zero Miedo, PAC, and Eddie Kingston. He tells Marvez to sing Happy Birthday to Matthew.
The Elite In Action
The Elite (The Young Bucks & Kazuchika Okada) vs. Eddie Kingston, Penta El Zero Miedo & PAC
Kingston and Okada start the bout. Okada tags out to Matthew Jackson. They square off, and PAC tags in. They go back and forth, and PAC gains the upper hand. Penta and Nicholas tag in. Penta drills him with a thrust kick. PAC and Penta double-team Nicholas, and they hit Matthew with some tandem offense as well. Okada and Kingston duke it out, and The Elite takes control as they isolate him. Kingston rallies with an Exploder suplex. Okada and Nicholas take out Kingston’s partners, so Matthew gains the upper hand again.
Penta tags in and clears house with a flurry of offense. He catches Okada with a kick. PAC tags in and hits Okada with a missile dropkick. PAC and Penta dive onto their opponents at ringside. He gets a two-count with a springboard 450 splash. Kingston and Okada go back and forth. Bodies are flying as the match breaks down in chaos. Nicholas drills Penta with a superkick. Kingston sends Nicholas into the ropes. Nicholas kicks Kingston below the belt, and Okada pins Kingston with the Rainmaker.
Winners: The Elite
Okada raises the AEW Continental Crown Championship and clearly states his interest in the gold.
In a video package, the feud between Adam Copeland and Christian Cage is highlighted ahead of their rematch next week.
In-Ring Segment: Will Ospreay
Will Ospreay comes to the ring to discuss his upcoming match against Bryan Danielson at AEW Dynasty. The fans chant “Bruv” as Ospreay looks ahead to facing Danielson. He says he’s glad Danielson is a fan of his work.
Ospreay notes that Danielson told him to prove that he’s the best in the world. He brings up the controversy surrounding the Tiger Driver ’91 and says it was worth it. Ospreay says the match against Danielson means a lot to him. He brings up the “Restore the feeling” phrase and says, “Bruv, I am the feeling.”
Ospreay says the match will be what AEW is all about, as it will pit two of the best wrestlers in the world against each other. He says it will be about proving who the best wrestler in the world is, and he is on another level.
In an interview, Deonna Purrazzo addresses Toni Storm and says this isn’t over. She says she will have no problem finding a partner for a match next week. She tells Storm to watch for the shoe, as it’s heading straight up her ass.
Darby Allin Faces Jay White
Darby Allin vs. Jay White
White takes Allin to the mat and controls the action early on. Allin fires back with a dropkick that sends White into the corner. Allin dives onto White at ringside. He takes White down with another dive, sending White into the barricade. He drives White into the barricade. White suplexes Allin onto a chair. White Irish whips Allin into the steel steps, and he lands hard on the floor. White continues to control the action.
White mocks Sting and goes for the Stinger Splash, but Allin rallies. Allin evades the Bladerunner and drops White with an over-the-shoulder stunner. Allin goes for a Coffin Drop off the ropes, but White turns it into a German suplex. Darby hits the Scorpion Death Drop. Darby goes for the Coffin Drop on the apron, but White moves, so he lands hard and crashes down onto the floor.

White celebrates with The Gunns. He extends a handshake to Darby but turns it into a “gun” taunt, as Bullet Club Gold attacks Allin. The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn run out to make the save. There’s clearly some tension in the Bang Bang Scissor Gang as they argue. Jay White blindsides Billy Gunn with a chair shot. Bullet Club Gold turns on The Acclaimed and leave them lying. They also take Allin out with a vicious shot to the ankle.
HOOK & Chris Jericho Team Up
HOOK & Chris Jericho vs. Gates of Agony (Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun)
HOOK and Jericho take control early on with a double-suplex on Kaun. Gates of Agony overpower Jericho as Liona sends the veteran crashing off the apron and onto the floor. Liona again sends Jericho into the commentary desk as the powerhouses maintain the advantage. They isolate Jericho and keep him grounded. Jericho rallies and tags HOOK, who clears house with a flurry of offense. HOOK dishes out some suplexes.
Kaun gains the upper hand. HOOK counters a double-team move. Jericho takes out Liona, and HOOK locks in the Redrum for the win.
Winners: HOOK & Chris Jericho
In an interview, Kyle O’Reilly reflects on his time away from the ring and says he wonders if he can still hang. He says he has had his sights set on Bryan Keith, and he will face Keith in his return to the ring. Roderick Strong interrupts and says he respects and loves Kyle. They hug, and Strong walks away after Mike Bennett and Matt Taven give him a fist bump.
A video package hypes up the main event between Riho and Willow Nightingale.
Mercedes Moné introduces herself to Riho ahead of the main event.
Backstage, Chris Jericho and HOOK are asked about their win. Jericho says HOOK rose to the occasion, and he has future world champion written all over him. He says he needs to know what it’s like to face him. He challenges HOOK to a match next week.
Willow Nightingale and Riho Main Event AEW Dynamite
Willow Nightingale vs. Riho
Willow and Riho go back and forth, and they are evenly matched early on. Nightingale gains the upper hand. She overpowers Riho and drops her with a suplex. Riho rallies and hits a Tiger Feint Kick. Riho gets a two-count with a diving crossbody. She plants Nightingale with a Northern Lights Suplex. Willow hits a Pounce. Riho takes control. They battle on the apron, and Riho hits a dragon suplex on the apron.
Willow levels Riho with a clothesline. Nightingale hits the Doctor Bomb for the win.
Winner: Willow Nightingale
Willow hugs Riho after the match. The lights go out, and Julia Hart appears when they come back on. Skye Blue and Julia Hart attack Willow, and Mercedes Moné comes to the ring to make the save. She fights off Hart and Blue. Moné raises Willow’s arm and stands tall.
Moné dances and continues to celebrate as the show ends.
