In-Ring Segment: Drew McIntyre

McIntyre calls Seth Rollins a junkie; Rollins can’t help himself but to be selfish. Rollins accepted a tag match against The Rock and Roman Reigns. McIntyre takes a moment to dump on CM Punk before explaining the bigger picture here. The bigger picture here is The Rock. McIntyre explains the history of pro wrestling and its humble beginnings. WWE partnered with the most important person in Hollywood, and Rollins is making problems that aren’t his. Seth Rollins’ music hits. Rollins asks McIntyre to do everyone a favor and shut up. The crowd sings Rollins’ song. Rollins says McIntyre has been begging for his attention. Maybe McIntyre can get his full attention with one more Claymore right now.

Rollins drops to his knees and begs McIntyre to do it. McIntyre looks perplexed. Rollins notes that he forgot that McIntyre is a coward, so he’ll make it easier. Rollins turns his back and waits for McIntyre to attack. McIntyre says he is just here to talk. McIntyre wants to tell Rollins that he was right when he told him to get over The Bloodline. He just wanted Rollins to take his own advice, but he refuses. Rollins needs to get over The Bloodline. Rollins says McIntyre is starting to remind him of CM Punk. The crowd chants for Punk. Rollins quips that he used to think Punk was the biggest hypocrite on the planet, but it’s McIntyre.

Rollins says McIntyre might as well be an honorary member of The Bloodline. McIntyre let them interfere several times. Rollins says McIntyre would love to let The Bloodline help him take Rollins’ title. Rollins says he will win out at WrestleMania, and the last thing McIntyre will hear is people singing Rollins’ song. McIntyre says he knows what Rollins is trying to do. Rollins wants McIntyre to take him out of his misery, but McIntyre refuses. McIntyre won’t let Rollins provoke him. McIntyre leaves the ring. Rollins tells McIntyre that he isn’t paying McIntyre any attention because he is last on the list of things Rollins is worried about. McIntyre rushes the ring but thinks better of it and leaves.

Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan

Lynch takes Morgan down. Morgan counters and lands a shoulder block that sends Lynch to the mat. Lynch lands a shoulder block of her own. Lynch mocks Morgan. Morgan lands a few strikes. Lynch tries to lock in the Disarmher. Morgan fights it off. Morgan and Lynch take turns trying offense outside the ring until Morgan manages to land a dive. Both women are down. After the break, Morgan drops Lynch with a dropkick. Lynch rolls into the corner. Morgan lands a splash. Lynch avoids a second and lands a slingshot kick. Exploder suplex by Lynch.

Morgan rolls out of the ring. Baseball slide by Lynch. Lynch lands a diving elbow smash off the apron. Lynch dives off the second rope. Morgan counters Lynch’s dive with a codebreaker. Both women are down again. Lynch and Morgan trade strikes. Morgan lands a slingshot codebreaker. Lynch kicks out at two. The fight spills out to the apron. Lynch tries to German suplex off the apron, but Morgan blocks it. Morgan kicks Lynch into the ring post and hits a sunset flip powerbomb off the apron.

Morgan sends Lynch back into the ring. Lynch kicks out. Morgan tries Oblivion. Lynch reverses it into the Manhandle Slam. Morgan rolls out of the ring to avoid getting pinned. After the break, Morgan has Lynch in the Rings of Saturn. Lynch reverses it into a Crossarmbreaker. Morgan reverses that back into the Ring of Saturn. Lynch and Morgan trade pin attempt counters. Leaping DDT by Morgan. Morgan lands Oblivion. Lynch rolls out of the ring to avoid getting pinned. Morgan dives off the top into a Manhandle Slam from Lynch. Lynch pins Morgan.

Winner- Becky Lynch

After the match, Lynch and Morgan share a nod. As Morgan is walking up the ramp, Rhea Ripley’s music hits and she saunters down to the ring. Morgan screams at Ripley as a referee pulls her away.

In-Ring Segment: Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch

Ripley congratulates Lynch and asks Lynch if it was all worth it. Every week, Lynch puts her body on the line on the Road to WrestleMania. Ripley says she knows the real reason Lynch is pushing herself. She knows deep down that Ripley is better than her. Ripley exclaims Lynch is looking for an excuse for when she loses at WrestleMania. After WrestleMania, Lynch won’t be The Man; she’ll be the disappointment. Lynch says Ripley needs to understand that when people believe in her, she is good. When people doubt her, she’s great. If it has to be Lynch versus the whole world, then the world doesn’t deserve a chance. Lynch drops the mic and walks away.

Backstage, Finn Bálor and Damian Priest are NOT happy with the news they will be defending the tag titles in a six-pack ladder match at WrestleMania. Along with JD McDonagh, Priest and Bálor are going to give the General Managers a piece of their minds.

Ivy Nile and Maxxine Dupri vs. Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae

Nile gets knocked into the corner. Dupri gets the tag and lands a few strikes. Dropkick by Dupri. Dupri sets up her version of the caterpillar. LeRae gets in Dupri’s face and calls her an embarrassment. LeRae adds that everyone hates Dupri, and she doesn’t belong, which is why everyone on the internet hates her. Dupri is visibly upset. LeRae tells Dupri that if Dupri’s dead brother were here to see this, he would be embarrassed. Dupri says she isn’t doing this and tries to leave. Hartwell boots Dupri in the face. LeRae yells at Hartwell to pin Dupri. Hartwell does.

Winners- Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae

In-Ring Segment: Michael Cole and Cody Rhodes

Cole throws to a package, recapping Cody Rhodes slapping The Rock last week. Cole introduces Cody Rhodes. Rhodes joins Cole in the ring. Cole asks Rhodes what he wants to talk about. Rhodes laughs. Cole notes that The Rock made it clear that he is Rhodes’ boss and added that if Rhodes loses, he will never get another shot at the title. Rhodes says it felt good to slap his boss. That slap was a receipt. Cole asks why Rhodes agreed to a tag match on night one of WrestleMania.

Cole insinuates that Rollins may be setting up Rhodes because Rollins wants to be the number one guy in WWE. How can Rhodes trust Rollins? Rhodes retorts that people change, and Rollins has his respect. Rhodes asks Cole if he could answer a question that Cole asked him last October. A video pops up of Cole asking Rhodes if his loss to Reigns at WrestleMania will be his story. Rhodes notes that he is nervous and afraid. The story isn’t about Rhodes and Reigns; it’s about the people.

Rhodes gets emotional talking about his family. He may not be able to hand the title to his father, but he can damn sure hand it to his mother. The story is beyond him, but it’s up to him. Rhodes stands and says last year, Regins says they were in the 3rd inning, but now they are in the last inning. Rhodes is happy that Cole is here and will get to say at WrestleMania 40 that Cody Rhodes finished the story.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: The Kabuki Warriors w/Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky vs. Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler

Stark and Asuka trade strike. Stark gets a near fall after a dropkick. Baszler tags in and lays in a few kicks. Asuka responds with a few of her own. Baszler counters with an ankle lock. Sane gets a blind tag and floors Baszler with a clothesline. Stark gets a blind tag and takes out Asuka and Sane with a dive. After the break, Sane lands a tree of woe double stomp on Stark. Stark kicks out. Stark manages to tag in Baszler. Baszler and Asuka trade strikes.

Sane surprises Baszler with a blockbuster. Asuka and Sane hit a sliding knee/clothesline combo on Baszler. Stark breaks up the pin. Baszler kicks Asuka in the face. Baszler tags in Stark. Stark sets up the Z360. Asuka escapes. Stark hits the Z360 on Sane. Baszler follows that with a running knee. Asuka breaks up the pin. Stark misses a dive. Baszler traps Sane in the Kirifuda Clutch. Sane counters into a pin, but Baszler rolls out of it. Kai grabs Baszler’s foot. Asuka lands a head kick to Baszler. Asuka and Sane hit their finish on Baszler for the win.

Winners and STILL WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, The Kabuki Warriors!

Backstage, Andrade chats with Rhea Ripley. Dominik isn’t here, but Ripley says they should all talk when he returns; Andrade agrees.

R-Truth vs. Damian Priest

Priest attacks R-Truth before the bell rings. Priest beats down R-Truth. #DIY runs down to ringside to cheer on R-Truth. Priest sets up a Razors’ Edge through the announce desk. R-Truth escapes and sends Priest into the ring post. R-Truth catches Priest with a diving clothesline off the apron. After the break. R-Truth lands the five moves of doom. Priest kicks out of the Attitude Adjustment. R-Truth locks Priest in the STF. At ringside, Bálor and McDonagh attach Gargano and Ciampa. R-Truth dives off the top onto everyone fighting outside the ring. R-Truth gets back in the ring and walks right into a lariat. South of Heaven by Priest. Priest pins R-Truth.

Winner- Damian Priest

After the match, everyone fights. the Judgement Day leaves #DIY and R-Truth lying.

In-Ring Segment: Jey Uso

Jey wants to talk to his big brother, Jimmy. Jey came to Monday Night Raw for a fresh start. The Bloodline won’t let him go. Jey challenges Jimmy to a match at WrestleMania. Jey looks into the camera and tells Jimmy to accept his challenge so he can knock the yeet out of him.

Backstage, Becky Lynch challenges Nia Jax to a last women’s standing match next week on Raw.

Intercontinental Championship Number One Contender’s Gauntlet Match: Ricochet vs. JD McDonagh vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Bronson Reed vs. Chad Gable

Ricochet and McDonagh are first up. McDonagh counters a springboard by Ricochet with a gut buster. Tilt-a-whirl backbreaker by McDonagh. Ricochet kicks out. McDonagh works over Ricochet. Ricochet fires up and tries a moonsault. McDonagh gets his knees up. Brainbuster by McDonagh. Ricochet kicks out. McDonagh and Ricochet trade strikes. Poison rana by Ricochet. McDonagh immediately responds with a Spanish fly. Ricochet kicks out. After the break, Ricochet hits a DVD on the apron. Ricochet eventually hits a shooting star press for the win.

JD McDonagh has been eliminated

Bronson Reed is out next. Ricochet lands a dive before Reed can get in the ring. Springboard dropkick by Ricochet. Fosbury flop by Ricochet. Reed counters a wheelbarrow with a full Nelson slam. Tsunami by Reed for the pin.

Ricochet has been eliminated

Sami Zayn is out next. Zayn and Reed fight outside the ring. Reed sends Zayn into the barricade. Zayn leaps onto the barricade and lands a moonsault on Reed. After the break, Reed works over Zayn. Zayn counters Reed’s superplex with a sunset flip bomb off the top for the win!

Shinsuke Nakamura is up next. Nakamura walks to the ring slowly as Reed attacks Zayn. Tsunami by Reed. Nakamura gets in the ring and misses a Kinshasa. Zayn rolls up Nakamura. Nakamura kicks out and sends Zayn out of the ring. A leaping sidekick from Nakamura sends Zayn flying over the announce desk. After the break, Zayn avoids the Kinshasa and hits the Helluva Kick for the pin.

Shinsuke Nakamura has been eliminated

Chad Gable is the final competitor. Gable tells Zayn to get to his feet so they can fight. Zayn can’t get up. Gable helps Zayn up. Zayn and Gable trade shots. Gable locks Zayn in the ankle lock. Zayn and Gable’s fight spills outside the ring. Gable grabs another ankle lock. Zayn kicks Gable into the ringsteps. After the break, Gable works over Zayn’s ankle. Zayn manages to land the Helluva Kick. Zayn crawls to make a cover. Gable turns Zayn’s cover into a pin. Zayn kicks out. Gable locks Zayn in another ankle lock. Zayn reverses it into a pin for the win.

Chad Gable has been eliminated

Winner and NEW Intercontinental Championship Number One Contender, Sami Zayn!

After the match, Gable helps Zayn up again. Zayn hugs Gable. Gunther’s music hits, and he walks out on the stage.
