TNA Announces Two Nights Of Wrestling With Under Siege and Impact Shows In May

TNA Wrestling is returning to Albany, New York with the next iteration of their ‘Under Siege’ event.

TNA has announced two back-to-back shows to be taking place in May, with tickets available to purchase next week. The company revealed that their return to New York will come from the Washington Avenue Armory on May 2nd, with the TNA Under Siege show.

This will air live on TNA+, and is the company’s first show in Albany since October 2022.

This will be followed the next night by a taping of TNA Impact on May 3rd, and will air the following Thursday night on AXS TV in the U.S. and on the Fight Network in Canada

Tickets will be available to purchase on Saturday, March 16th at 10am on Ticketmaster.com or TNAWrestling.com.

TNA have announced matches for the TNA World Championship and Knockouts World Championship will take place. While no official match announcement has taken place, current champions Moose and Jordynne Grace will defend their belts at the shows, assuming they do not lose them between now and May 2nd.

A number of top stars are being advertised for the shows. The likes of Josh Alexander, KUSHIDA, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin are all scheduled to take part.

Josh Alexander Wants To Wrestle Mustafa Ali In TNA

One match that could take place at Under Siege is somewhat of a dream match, at least for one wrestler.

Former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Josh Alexander spoke to the Battleground Podcast. He revealed that he wants to face X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali, following Ali’s exit from the WWE last year.

“I mean, I would jump at the opportunity to step in the ring with Mustafa Ali. For sure. Because he’s coming from WWE. He’s has all the success in the world there. I think that, much like I said, this is the land of opportunity. He might have gotten the opportunities to show what he’s capable of there. “

“And you see him making the best of it with these promos. And these videos. That he’s putting out that he can have a different side and presentation that he might not have elsewhere gotten. And… You know… For him to go out there with Chris Sabin at No Surrender, one of the best exhibition matches I’ve ever seen man. Blew me away.”
