Darby Allin is one of the top talents in All Elite Wrestling. Seeing the amount of risks the AEW World Tag Team Champion takes, people would often wonder if he has any fear in life. But it turns out that the former AEW TNT Champion does have one fear in life.
Recently, the Daredevil of the Jacksonville-based promotion was interviewed by Denise Salcedo. During the interview, Darby Allin discussed many things. That included him being able to capture the AEW World Tag Team Championships with WWE Hall of Famer Sting and also some of the biggest and craziest things he had done in his entire career. another thing that he discussed was what he fears the most.
Darby Allin revealed that he fears self-satisfaction and being complacent the most. He always wants to achieve more and bigger things in life.
“I fear complacency. That’s like been my biggest fear my whole life. I always wanted to do stuff with like very… Something special with my life, but everybody told me like, ‘Hey don’t expect much. Expect a bare minimum.’ And I listened to them and that got me a job at the 99 Cents store. It got me a job as a dishwasher. And it was killing me inside. It sucked,” he said.
“So the moment I started listening to myself and like, ‘All right, I’m…’ Complacency is my biggest fear. Just like people not living to their fullest potential. That’s what… The fact that I found out listening to myself early on, got me a lot of great opportunities in life. I’m so grateful for that. Just cuz, people find that out too late in life. So yeah. That’s my biggest fear,” Darby Allin said.
