This past Wednesday night, Ricky Starks and Big Bill suffered a huge loss. The duo lost their AEW World Tag Team Titles to The Icon Sting and Darby Allin.
Following the match, people were talking about the future of the former AEW World Tag Team Champions. The Absolute One seems to have an answer. He is interested in seeing his tag team partner compete to capture his first singles championship in the Jacksonville-based promotion.
Following the tag team title match, a fan took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the former WWE Superstar Big Bill. The fan wanted to apologize to the former AEW World Tag Team Champion as he didn’t truly know about how good Bill truly was.
“Big Bill might be the biggest “I owe you an apology. I was not familiar with your game” wrestler I’ve ever seen. This big fucker is godly,” a fan tweeted.
Following this tweet, The Absolute One, Ricky Starks replied to the fan by mentioning that he has always tried to help Big Bill even before helping himself. Starks also claimed that the former WWE Superstar deserves a shot at the AEW TNT Championship.
“He deserves a lot and I’ll always try to help him before myself. He deserves a shot at the TNT title,” Ricky Starks tweeted.

Former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya recently shared a video of wrestlers training in the school that is run by her and her husband TJ Wilson. In the video, Ricky Starks was seen wrestling as well. During an interview for Haus of Wrestling, the Queen of Harts shared her thoughts on the Absolute One.
“It’s not really a school. It’s a workshop,” said Natalya. “So when Ricky came out, we, listen, anybody that has passion, that, you know, like, I feel like Ricky has so much passion for the industry. I was totally honored to have him come train with us, and he’s very, very talented. And so I would, of course, love to see him, you know, doing what he loves. I know he’s very good friends with Cody Rhodes, but I think Ricky has a really great total package. He can speak, he looks great, he moves great, he’s passionate,” Natalya said.
