Chase U was on the verge of shutting down, but Jacy Jayne saved the day.
On the January 30 episode of WWE NXT, Andre Chase addressed the Chase U students and the fans. He emphasized his passion and noted that Chase U was one of NXT’s best success stories. Chase highlighted the memories they have made together and stated that he had nobody to blame for the university closing other than himself. He expressed his gratitude for having the chance to live his dream.
Duke Hudson reflected on his growth and said that Chase University was special. He said he wanted it to be remembered in a positive way, and he brought up a tribute video about the school. The montage featured highlights from everything Chase U has done over the years.
Chase stated that the situation was a teachable moment, but this was goodbye. Jacy Jayne and Thea Hail interrupted. Jayne noted that Chase U helped her see that she could change, so she had to do something when the school was in trouble. She revealed that she found a solution, as she told Andre Chase that they were not saying goodbye to Chase U.
Jayne introduced the Ladies of Chase U calendar. She said the projected sales would not only save Chase U, but they would get the school to the promised land.
Jayne stated that the calendar would officially go on sale at WWE NXT Vengeance Day. She also said that it would take them to the next level.
