Multiple noteworthy names, including Shawn Spears, were reportedly at the TNA television tapings in Orlando, Florida, over the weekend.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) previously reported that Mason Madden (Mace), Mansoor, and Alex Zayne were at the tapings.
In an update, Sapp reports that Shawn Spears, formerly known as Tye Dillinger in WWE, was also at the tapings. Sapp notes that Spears is from the area, and he was seen backstage. Sapp also writes that sources indicated that Spears met with Scott D’Amore for about 20 minutes at the show.
Spears left AEW and entered free agency on January 1. He had been with the company since 2019. Spears previously worked for WWE for several years until he requested and obtained his release in February 2019.
In recent weeks, Ash By Elegance (Dana Brooke), Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler), and other stars have joined TNA.
