Daniel Garcia wants to earn another AEW contract, and he believes winning some gold would help.
Former ROH Pure Champion Daniel Garcia had a buzzworthy run in the AEW Continental Classic, and he has been featured on AEW television in recent weeks. As the road to AEW Revolution heats up, Garcia is determined to win some singles gold.
Speaking with Adrian Hernandez, Daniel Garcia was asked about his goals, and he stated that his contract is coming up. He made it clear that he wants to earn another one, and he is determined to win some gold. (H/t Jeremy Lambert of Fightful for the transcription).
“My contract is up this year,” Daniel Garcia said. “My number one focus is earning another contract and showing that I am someone that can be built around and somebody that can be fully invested in as a top guy. That’s my number one priority. My priority outside of that is, what better way to show you can be a top guy than winning a title. I would love to win some singles gold in AEW.”
