With Dana Brooke in the rearview mirror, Ash By Elegance is ready to take center stage.
During Saturday’s Hard To Kill event, TNA Wrestling fans were introduced to a new character in the Knockouts Division — that being Ash By Elegance, formerly known as Dana Brooke in WWE. Ash was first featured in a pre-taped segment with TNA President Scott D’Amore, who escorted her into the venue. The camera later panned to reveal Ash sitting at ringside for the Knockouts Championship match between Jordynne Grace and Trinity. Following her appearance at Hard To Kill, Ash has now confirmed her signing with TNA Wrestling.
“It is official. The big secret is out, I am signed with TNA Wrestling, which is an amazing opportunity. I cannot wait to explore that Knockouts Division,” Ash told Ring The Belle.
TNA Debut
In assessing her TNA debut, Ash By Elegance noted that was excited to not only let her presence be known, but to also see her former WWE colleague, Trinity, in action. Ash also made it clear that she has her sights set on the Knockouts Championship, which is now held by Jordynne Grace.
“I made my secret appearance. I came to the venue, which was an amazing venue in Las Vegas at the Palms [Casino Resort]. It was spectacular,” Ash said. “While that Knockouts title match was going on, I just wanted to make my way out to the ring, and let my presence be known, and watch an amazing match with one of my old co-workers, Trinity. So I was really excited to show up and watch her against Jordynne, which was an amazing match. I also wanted to make a statement and let everybody know that my eyes are on that Knockouts title.”
Update: TNA later confirmed that Ash signed with the company.
