Zack Sabre Jr. sends a heated message to Matt Riddle.
At NJPW Battle in the Valley, Matt Riddle teamed up with Jeff Cobb to defeat Zack Sabre Jr. and Bad Dude Tito of TMDK. Riddle ultimately scored the win in his NJPW in-ring debut.
In his post-match comments, Sabre Jr. expressed his frustration and targeted Riddle and Cobb.
“Jeffrey, you absolute scoundrel,” Sabre Jr. said. “As if it’s not bad enough United Empire, with their colonial imperious imagery, now you’re hanging out with absolute f*cking buffoons. King of Bros? King of dickheads.
“I remember you, Matthew Riddle. You’ve not gained any brain cells, have you? Don’t get too cocky, darling. You’re feeling good, aren’t you? First New Japan victory? Well, TMDK, we’re turning a new leaf in 2024. We got off to a rough start, [Tito], but look at these tits. [Slaps Tito’s pecs] Look at these big-boy tits.”
Bad Dude Tito then made it clear that the feud was not over. He told Jeff Cobb and Matt Riddle to keep their heads on a swivel. Sabre Jr. ended the message by stating that 2024 would be TMDK’s year, and he look ahead to his rematch with Bryan Danielson on February 11.
Matt Riddle will face NJPW World TV Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi at NJPW The New Beginning on February 23.
