WBD Touts ‘Banner Year’ For AEW Programming On TBS And TNT

Warner Bros. Discovery hypes up a strong year for AEW‘s programming lineup.

AEW’s relationship with Warner Bros. Discovery continued to grow in 2023. In addition to AEW Dynamite on TBS and Rampage on TNT, the company added a third weekly show, AEW Collision, in June. Additionally, quarterly Battle of the Belts specials also air on TNT.

In a press release, Warner Bros. Discovery highlighted a “banner year” for AEW programming in 2023. The release noted that TBS and TNT wrapped up a “stellar year” of AEW wrestling, which consistently delivered top-ranked programs.

WBD noted that AEW programs ranked in the top 10 of all cable programs “among adults under-50 72 times, including 50 times with a top-5 program in that coveted demo.” Additionally, WBD wrote that “viewership of AEW programming on the networks saw increasing momentum as the year culminated, reaching 15.6 million total viewers in Q4 2023, up 3% vs. Q4 2022.”

Overall, WBD noted that AEW programming reached nearly four million viewers every week on TNT and TBS.
