Daniel Garcia On The AEW Continental Classic: I Hope People Put More Respect On My Name

Daniel Garcia certainly believes being in the AEW Continental Classic was extremely valuable for him.

All Elite Wrestling‘s Daniel Garcia recently took part in the AEW Worlds End Media Scrum. When asked if he believes there is more respect on his name now following the AEW Continental Classic, Garcia said he’s been hungry for this opportunity.

“I definitely think more people have been able to see what I can do over the past month,” Daniel Garcia said. “I think when I came into AEW, I was given a lot of big opportunities right off the bat. And I’m very grateful for, like I said, opportunity here gets harder and harder to come by every week. The roster gets bigger and bigger. And I think it’s great. I think competition is amazing.

“But it means that you get less opportunity. And I went a year where I was hungry, hungry, hungry for opportunity, and I just wanted more. The Continental Classic is something that there’s nothing more valuable being a TV wrestler than being able to wrestle five weeks on TV in a row.

“And to be able to show what I can do five weeks in a row night in, night out against some of the best wrestlers in the world? I think that’s crazy valuable. That’s worth millions and millions of dollars. I definitely think I was able to show more people what I can do. And I hope people put more respect on my name since then.”
