Carlito made a surprise appearance on the special “New Year’s Evil” episode of WWE NXT on January 2.
Dragon Lee was set to team up with Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro on Tuesday night, as they would face the No Quarter Catch Crew. Lee was forced to miss the show due to visa issues, but he teased that the LWO would have a big surprise.
That surprise turned out to be WWE SmackDown star Carlito. He took Lee’s place in the six-man tag team match.
The two teams battled back and forth. Joaquin Wilde stole the show with some impressive acrobatics. In one eye-opening highlight, he took flight with a dive to the outside. He hit another spinning dive later in the bout.
In the end, LWO scored the win. Carlito then celebrated the victory by spitting some of his apple in Gulak’s face.
