Xavier Woods was absent from the December 18 episode of WWE RAW, and a new report shines some light on the situation.
Kofi Kingston, Woods’ tag team partner, appeared on Monday night, as he dressed up like Santa and handed out gifts. He also helped Jey Uso defeat Ludwig Kaiser. However, Woods was notably absent from the show.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that, per sources, Woods is banged up, and he has been taken off the road to heal. The nature of the issue is not known. Sources indicated that Woods was in Birmingham, Alabama, where injured WWE stars are typically treated, a few weeks ago.
Additionally, the report notes that the New Day was advertised for the live events following Christmas. That has since been changed to Kingston as an individual.
Xavier Woods last wrestled in the Tag Team Turmoil match on the November 27 episode of WWE RAW.
