AEW Collision Results – December 16, 2023
This week’s episode of AEW Collision kicks off with promos from Eddie Kingston, Daniel Garcia, Claudio Castagnoli, Andrade El Idolo, Brody King, and Bryan Danielson to hype up their respective Continental Classic matches tonight. Orange Cassidy, on the other hand, has no idea what’s going on.
Claudio Castagnoli defeated Andrade El Idolo in a Blue League match of the Continental Classic
- Claudio Castagnoli hits Andrade El Idolo with a low blow behind the referee’s back, followed by the Neutralizer to score the pinfall victory.

Abadon defeated Jazmin Allure
- Adabon hit Jazmin Allure with the Black Dalia to secure the pinfall victory.
The lights go out after the match and come back on as TBS Champion Julia Hart stands in the ring. Hart lays the TBS Championship on the ground, and Abadon spears Hart to the ground. The two women brawl, and Abadon gets the better of her and takes the TBS Championship.
Skye Blue comes out and teases that she and Abadon are going to take Julia Hart out together, but Blue turns on Abadon, and they double-team Abadon instead.
This brings Thunder Rosa out of the Spanish commentary table and hits the ring to even the odds. Rosa and Abadon shake hands as Julia Hart and Skye Blue look on angrily on the stage.
The Acclaimed return to AEW Collision
AEW Trios Champions, The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass are backstage. The three men are angry about being attacked by The Devil’s goons. Max Caster says since MJF wasn’t around to save them, he wants nothing to do with them. Anthony Bowens says they are on a mission to take out the masked people who attacked them and go back to being the best Trios Champs in AEW history.
Top Flight and Action Andretti arrive and ask for a title shot. The Acclaimed accepts for AEW Collision next Saturday night.
Orange Cassidy defeated Bryan Keith to retain the AEW International Championship
- Orange Cassidy catches Bryan Keith with the Mouse Trap to secure the pinfall victory.
Bryan Keith and Orange Cassidy show respect to one another following the match.
A video package airs of Miro, who is conflicted over what’s happening with his wife, CJ Perry, and her client Andrade El Idolo. Miro teases he’s eagerly awaiting Andrade to get knocked out of the Continental Classic so he can go after him.
Komander is backstage. Roderick Strong and The Kingdom show up and mock Kommander for not winning the Ring of Honor Television Championship last night. Strong says he’s found his next victim, and his name is… KOMANDERRRRRRR!!!!
FTR and House of Black gets even more personal
FTR come to the ring and they call out the House of Black. Cash Wheeler implies that Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews are jealous of the success Brody King and Julia Hart are having lately and they’re taking it out on them instead. Dax Harwood tries to issue a challenge to the House of Black, but their microphones go out, followed by the lights.
Buddy Matthews and Malakai Black show up on the Tron. Matthews says they are trying to prove a point that no one in All Elite Wrestling wants to help them. Matthews says that all the fans love Dax Harwood, but they don’t care about Cash Wheeler.
Malakai Black says they will do whatever they have to in order to make their point. Black lights a picture of Dax, his wife, and his daughter on fire and tells them, like or not, House of Black is their family now.
A video package plays for Keith Lee, who reveals that Shane Taylor isn’t the “him” that he’s been referring to in recent weeks.
Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander defeated Mercedes Martinez and Diamante in a Texas Street Fight
- Kris Standlander hit Diamante with a discus lariat with a steel chain around her arm to score the pinfall victory for her team in a wild street fight.
Toni Storm’s opponent at World’s End will be decided on AEW Dynamite
Timeless Toni Storm and Mariah May are backstage. Toni Storm is informed by Renee Paquette the winner of the match between Saraya and Riho on AEW Dynamite will face Storm for her title at World’s End. Storm says she has no preference for who she’d rather face.
Mariah May is asked about when she’ll make her in-ring debut. May says Tony Khan has helped her apply for her American wrestling license, and it’s only a matter of time. May asks Storm if she could do commentary for her debut match. Storm blows the notion off and says she’s too busy and doesn’t have time for that.
Storm would retake the spotlight and cut a promo on Saraya and Riho utilizing words we’re not going to repeat here. You can check out her hilarious promo in the embedded tweet below.

Brian Cage (w/ Prince Nana and The Gates of Agony) defeated Kari Wright
- Brian Cage hits Kari Wright with the Drillclaw to score the pinfall victory.
Keith Lee drops a big hint as to who “him” is
Brian Cage, Prince Nana, and The Gates of Agony are backstage after the commercial break. Cage is putting over his victory as he’s confronted by Keith Lee, who tells Cage to tell “him” that his patience is wearing thin. It seems very obvious that “him” is none other than Swerve Strickland.
Eddie Kingston defeated Daniel Garcia in a Blue League match of the Continental Classic
- Eddie Kingston hits Daniel Garcia with the spinning back fist to secure the pinfall victory.
Bryan Danielson defeated Brody King in a Blue League match of the Continental Classic
- Bryan Danielson hits Brody King with three straight Busaiku Knees to secure the pinfall victory.
Danielson is unable to get to his feet to celebrate the victory as AEW Collision goes off the air.
