It appears a lot of wrestling companies were negotiating with The CW this year, including David Marquez‘s Championship Wrestling From Hollywood.
David Marquez has been very vocal on social media since it was announced that WWE NXT had signed a deal with The CW to air their product in 2024. But we never quite knew just how close the deal was to being final until now.
Last night Marquez posted another message about his company losing The CW deal. This time he revealed a design of his company’s altered Television Championship with The CW logo on it, tweeting out:
“I’m doing my best to move forward, but the internet. Oh, the internet. I’m not going to argue or speak much about the network deal I lost, but I was on the one yard line and here is an element that we were going to use in the series. Maybe someday you’ll see a logo like this on our television title. Next…,” David Marquez said in a post.
