CM Punk‘s next WWE appearance has been confirmed.
The former WWE Champion has officially been announced for the WWE Tribute To The Troops edition of WWE SmackDown on Friday, December 8. The show will emanate from Providence, Rhode Island, and air on FOX as usual.
This seemingly confirms that Punk is a free agent within WWE and has yet to be officially assigned to a specific brand following his shocking return at Survivor Series. Punk made his first comments on a live mic during the November 27 episode of WWE RAW, but it was not made clear what is next in terms of Punk’s first storyline back.
This will mark Punk’s first appearance on SmackDown since January 2014.
As always, WrestleZone will have complete coverage SmackDown as it airs next week.
