This past Saturday night was one of AEW’s big pay-per-views Full Gear. The event took place Live in Los Angeles, California. One of the biggest matches of the night was the Texas Death Match between Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland. Recently, Strickland’s manager Prince Nana shared the real reason behind his and Strickland’s entrance at the pay-per-view.
Swerve Strickland’s theme song has garnered a lot of attention and popularity. One of the main reasons is because of his manager Prince Nana. Nana has performed a unique dance move every time Strickland’s music plays. During the build to the Texas Death Match, Hangman Adam Page claimed that Prince Nana was making a fool of himself by performing these dance moves.
At the Full Gear pay-per-view, the leader of the Mogul Affiliates had a special group of dancers performing Nana’s dance moves. This was highly appreciated by fans all over the world.
Prince Nana took to Twitter to share the real reason behind the special entrance at Full Gear. The manager of Swerve Strickland revealed that the sole purpose of the entrance was to entice Hangman Adam Page. All that Prince Nana and Strickland wanted to do was to disrespect the former AEW World Heavyweight Champion.
“I’m still broken up but I wanted to say… @swerveconfident and my entrance was totally a Display of total disrespect to Hangman indeed??????? #AEWFullGear,” Prince Nana tweeted.
The Texas Death Match proved to be one of the most brutal matches in AEW history. In the end, thanks to some help from Prince Nana, Swerve Strickland managed to pick up the victory.
