Darby Allin: Sting Has More Hunger Than Some Of The AEW Roster, He Pushes Boundaries

Being part of Sting’s last run is important to Darby Allin.

Sting will wrestle his last match at AEW Revolution 2024. His tag team partner, Darby Allin, is set to be by his side throughout this climactic stretch of his career.

Speaking with Blake Oestriecher for Forbes, Allin discussed his pairing with Sting and being part of the legend’s last run.

“When I first got paired with Sting, I really did not know how it was gonna go,” Darby Allin said. “But to be a part of the final chapter of his career is super important because to me, in a story, the most important part of the story is the end…If you tarnish the end, everyone’s always going to remember that.”

Allin also commented on Sting’s hunger as a competitor. He noted that “The Icon” is hungrier than a lot of the younger talent.

“He has gotten more hunger than a lot of the younger guys on the roster. He’s got nothing to prove, but he pushes the boundaries every time he wrestles.”

At AEW Full Gear, Darby Allin, Sting, and Adam Copeland will face Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs on November 18.
