Mandy Rose comments on potentially returning to the ring.
Mandy Rose had a prominent run in WWE, and she held the NXT Women’s Championship until she lost it on December 13, 2022. WWE released her the next day in a move that was reportedly in response to the risqué content she posted on FanTime. Since then, her future in wrestling has been unclear.
During a Q&A on Instagram, Mandy Rose was asked about potentially wrestling again. She stated that she doesn’t know when she will return. Rose admitted that she does not know whether she will come back at all. (H/t Jeremy Lambert of Fightful for the transcription)
“I don’t know when I’ll be returning to the ring,” Rose said. “Not really sure if I’ll be returning to the ring. Not really sure if I’m not going to be returning to the ring. It’s really up in the air. I know it’s not the best answer, but it’s all I can say right now.”
“I am enjoying my life, my freedom, my time. When you’re wrestling and on the road, it takes a toll on you, and I have to be committed to that if I want to get back into it, so we’ll see. I was on the road for like eight years and it was a blessing.”
During the Q&A, Rose was also asked about potentially joining AEW or IMPACT/TNA Wrestling, and she replied, “I don’t know. If the right phone calls comes around, maybe.”
