Creed, The Band From The WWE Desire Videos, Announces North American Tour

Creed, the American rock band you most likely know from doing the “Desire” videos for WWE, is hitting the road again.

Creed was announced as part of the “Summer of ’99” Cruise. Now, they’ve announced a follow-up tour of North America.

WWE heavily featured Creed’s “My Sacrifice” in its “My Desire” videos during the company’s Attitude Era. The song is from the band’s third album, Weathered, released in 2001. The videos highlighted the roster’s greatest moments and became a widely popular feature of WWE fans.

Creed has been nominated for a GRAMMY three times, winning once for Best Rock Song for “With Arms Wide Open” in 2001. They’ve also sold more than 20 million albums and were one of the most popular bands in the early 2000s.

Creed provided other tracks on WWE programming, including “Young Grow Old” from 1999’s Human Clay as the theme song for WWE Backlash 2002.

Supporting acts on the tour include 3 Doors Down, Daughtry, Switchfoot, Tonic, Big Wreck and Finger Eleven, the latter of whom composed Kane’s “Slow Chemical” theme song.
