Lyra Valkyria has dethroned Becky Lynch.
In the main event of NXT Halloween Havoc Night One on October 24, Lyra Valkyria challenged Becky Lynch for the NXT Women’s Championship. Ahead of the bout, Jade Cargill appeared on a platform above the crowd so she could watch the action. Once the bell rang, the two Irish stars battled it out in a thrilling contest. In the end, Valkyria kicked out of one Man-Handle Slam, reversed another, and rolled Lynch up for the win.
Lynch then raised Valkyria’s hand as a sign of respect after the match.
Lynch previously won the title by defeating Tiffany Stratton on the September 12 episode of WWE NXT. Since then, she has defended the gold multiple times on RAW, and she retained it against Tiffany Stratton at NXT No Mercy. With the victory, Valkyria won her first title in WWE.
