Cody Rhodes will be in action at WWE Crown Jewel.
On the October 23 episode of WWE RAW, Cody Rhodes confronted Damian Priest and Finn Balor. Priest proposed a singles match between him and Rhodes for WWE Crown Jewel, and Rhodes accepted.
“The American Nightmare” then brawled with The Judgment Day, and Jey Uso made the save. But the arrival of JD McDonagh tipped the odds in the group’s favor, and Priest brutally smashed Rhodes’ leg with a chair against the steel steps.
After the attack, Michael Cole confirmed that Rhodes will officially face Priest at WWE Crown Jewel. Rhodes was then shown being taken to the trainer’s room backstage.
Priest and Balor beat Rhodes and Uso to win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship on the October 16 episode of WWE RAW. The two teams previously clashed at WWE Fastlane. There, Rhodes and Uso defeated the Judgment Day duo to win the gold.
