Sonny Kiss says her IMPACT debut was only a matter of time.
Former AEW Sonny Kiss made her IMPACT debut at IMPACT Bound For Glory on October 21. Kiss competed in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet. Jordynne Grace won the bout, but Kiss still stood out with an impressive performance.
Kiss then took to social media and commented on her debut by saying that she has been making an impact in professional wrestling for some time now. She wrote that it was only a matter of time before IMPACT called “The Concrete Rose.”
Sonny Kiss had been with AEW since the company launched in 2019. She was initially featured on AEW programming, but she was rarely used on television for stretches of time. Kiss briefly returned to the spotlight as a member of The Trustbusters in 2022.
She last wrestled for AEW/ROH at the television tapings on July 22. Kiss was removed from the AEW roster page of AEW All Out, and Tony Khan confirmed her departure at the post-show media scrum.
Update On Sonny Kiss’ Status With IMPACT Wrestling
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Sonny Kiss will be a regular with the company going forward. Johnson noted that there is no word on whether Kiss has signed a contract with IMPACT.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
