Roman Reigns and LA Knight will put pen to paper on the October 27 episode of WWE SmackDown.
As previously announced, Knight will challenge Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WWE Crown Jewel. During a confrontation with Paul Heyman on the October 20 episode of SmackDown, Knight confirmed that the contract signing for the match will be on October 27.
Plus, WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar will face the Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins). Dawkins interfered and helped Ford score the win in a singles match against Escobar on the October 20 episode of WWE SmackDown. Carlito ran down for the save when Dawkins and Ford attacked Mysterio after the bell.
The announced card for the October 27 episode of WWE SmackDown is as follows:
- Roman Reigns and LA Knight sign the contract for WWE Crown Jewel
- Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar vs. The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins)
