Jade Cargill is the biggest star to jump ship from AEW to WWE. Cargill has not competed in a WWE ring, but she is being treated as one of the most decorated superstars of all time.
The former and inaugural AEW TBS Champion has been making appearances on every brand. She made her first on-screen appearance for the Stamford-based promotion at the WWE Fastlane Premium Live Event. Cargill then showed up on NXT to have a meeting with Shawn Michaels. Last week on SmackDown, the 31-year-old star had a face-to-face confrontation with the most decorated female star in WWE history, Charlotte Flair. Following that, Cargill ran into the current NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch on Monday Night Raw.
Cargill looked at the NXT Women’s Championship and mentioned that it was a nice belt. The Man replied to her by asking her to stand in the line. There are already so many talents who are wanting to get a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship. Superstars such as Tegan Nox, Xia Li, Lyra Valkyria, and the latest one, the former champion Indi Hartwell.
The 31-year-old AEW original took to Twitter to take a shot at Lynch. She mocked her by seemingly claiming that Cargill has no habit of standing in a line.
“Stand in line? What does that even mean? #WWERaw,” Jade Cargill tweeted.
The Man Becky Lynch also had a message for Cargill. She welcomed her to ‘the Big Time.’
Last night on WWE NXT, Cargill showed up and also teased that the clock is ticking for her debut. While the teases continue, there is still no confirmation on when or where Cargill will make her WWE debut.
