AEW World Champion MJF responds to the criticism following the October 10 episode of AEW Dynamite.
On a special “Title Tuesday” episode, Juice Robinson was the center of a controversial moment that seemingly played into antisemitism when he pulled out a roll of quarters that had MJF’s name on them. The moment drew plenty of criticism, particularly as it came amid the conflict between Israel and Palestine.
In a tweet, MJF commented on the spot and stated that he has actually had this experience, and it’s his story. He stated that he looked forward to giving catharsis to everyone who has been oppressed or bullied.
MJF then wrote that he looks forward to the hard conversation the spot creates and people getting further educated. He made it clear that his life’s work is to stand up to injustice done to people for being different. MJF also stated that he believes that can be done through wrestling.
