The Family defied the odds at WWE NXT No Mercy.
At NXT No Mercy, The Family (Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo) defended the NXT Tag Team Championship. They agreed to take on all comers, so they faced The Creed Brothers, OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price), and Angel Garza and Humberto Carillo. The team battled it out in a hard-hitting match. The Creed Brothers in particular showcased the chemistry that previously led them to the gold.
At one point, D’Angelo seemingly suffered an injury, and he was taken out of the match, leaving “Stacks” on his own. But “The Don of NXT” persevered, and he returned the ring. He and “Stacks’ ultimately rallied and clinched the win to retain the gold.
