Eddie Kingston Says He Signed A Four-Year Deal With AEW

ROH World Champion Eddie Kingston is staying with AEW for the foreseeable future.

Eddie Kingston made his AEW debut in July 2020. Since then, he has become a fan-favorite star in the promotion. Throughout his time in AEW, Kingston has been a featured member of the roster; in 2022, he feuded with Chris Jericho. He recently scored a big win when he beat Claudio Castagnoli to win the ROH World Championship on AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam.

In an interview with Dominic DeAngelo for AdFreeShows, Eddie Kingston confirmed that he has re-signed with AEW.

“It’s insane [how much Tony Khan cares],” Eddie Kingston said. “Emotion out now, I wish he didn’t care about nobody. But emotion in, this is why I love AEW. That’s why, if you noticed you haven’t heard anything about me with contracts, I did my sh-t on the low.

“My thing was coming up, I got four more years. So I’m straight. No one needs to know how much, no one needs to know how long. I got my f—ing h-t, and I’m gonna be there for a minute because there’s nowhere else I want to be. That’s it.”

Eddie Kingston is also the reigning NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion. He recently announced that, for the time being, he is no longer taking independent bookings. In the past, Kingston has also competed for TNA/IMPACT Wrestling, PWG, and CZW, among other promotions.
