DEFY Wrestling has made a major announcement regarding their DEFY Genesis show on October 27.
In a tweet, DEFY confirmed that IWGP World Heavyweight SANADA will be in action at their October 27 show, which will be held at Washington Hall in Seattle. His opponent was not named in the announcement.
SANADA has competed in the United States a few times in recent months. He retained his title against Jack Perry at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. At IMPACT Emergence, he defeated Jake Something.
SANADA is a former IWGP United States Champion and a three-time IWGP Tag Team Champion. He has also held the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championship.
