The Master of the 619 Rey Mysterio and his son have a very odd relationship in WWE. Dominik Mysterio claims the Hall of Famer is a deadbeat father. Recently the former World Heavyweight Champion spanked his son at a non-televised live event.
Dominik Mysterio made his way to WWE thanks to his father. The two had a great run as a father-son duo. They even captured the SmackDown Tag Team Championships at one point. Last year in September, at the Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event Dirty Dom turned on his father and The Rated-R Superstar Edge.
Since then, things have not been pleasant. The two even had a one-on-one match on the grandest stage of them all at WrestleMania. Rey managed to pick up the win on the night, thanks to some unexpected help from popular Hip-hop artist Bad Bunny.
After parting ways with Rey, Dirty Dom joined the Judgment Day. Currently, Dominik Mysterio is the NXT North American Champion. He is set to defend the title at the NXT No Mercy Premium Live Event against Mustafa Ali.
This past weekend The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest defended their Undisputed Tag Team Championships at a WWE Live Event. They competed against the Latino World Order’s Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro.
During the match, Dominik Mysterio rushed into the ring to help out his faction members. This did not sit well with the Master of the 619. He ran in with a slipper and continuously spanked his son. As a result, chased him out of the building.
While Rey took care of his son, Finn Balor, and Damian Priest still managed to thrive and retain their tag team championships.
