TJ Wilson is very happy to see how far Angelo Dawkins has come as a pro wrestler.
Wilson discussed how he trains people in his “dungeon” on Out of Character with Ryan Satin. Wilson said seeing talent hit new milestones is very rewarding for him as a trainer.
“To see the growth in Angelo Dawkins over the last two years, to me, that’s the reward in itself. Or Liv Morgan,” TJ Wilson said. “I mean, a lot of people have come to my ring. Xyon Quinn’s been coming to my ring a bunch, and he’s made tremendous improvements over the last six-eight weeks. Moose, who’s in IMPACT, he’s awesome, man.”
Wilson then elaborated on Angelo Dawkins’ progress and emphasized that he has put in a lot of hard work. He also highlighted how Dawkins is a leader and continues to prove it.
“He has put so work in, and I will never take any credit for anybody’s hard work. He has put in so much hard work,” TJ Wilson said. “It’s a great energy to be around. Not only does he put in the work for himself, but when he’s there, he keeps the energy really high for everybody else. He’s a leader. He’s absolutely a leader, and he just continues to prove that week after week.
“He’ll be on the road, he’ll be on the live events, he’ll be at TVs, and then he’ll still come to my ring, which is a 20-minute drive from my house, but it’s at least 90 minutes from his house, and then back. He’s coming every time.”
