Gunther shares his thoughts on the way Chad Gable‘s daughter cried after their match on WWE RAW.
On the September 4 episode, Gunther defended the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable. Gabe’s family was at ringside, and his oldest daughter was shown crying after “The Ring General” clinched the win.
In an interview with Riju Dasgupta for Sportskeeda Wrestling, Gunther was asked to describe how he felt after the match. He acknowledged Gable’s daughter crying and noted that he liked to see some heartbreak.
“Great, I felt great. I won, right? So I’m good,” Gunther said. “I enjoy a little bit of a heartbreak at the end. I was happy to see that.”
Gunther: I’m Just Getting Started
Gunther was also asked to comment on breaking the record for the longest WWE Intercontinental Championship reign in history. He stated that he’s just getting started.
“It’s a great accomplishment,” he said. “But I’m gonna use that to build my legacy more on top of that. [I’m] getting started.”
