A new match has been added to the September 22 episode of WWE SmackDown.
As confirmed during the September 15 episode, WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar will take on The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) in a tag team match. Ford and Dawkins beat Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro in a tag team match on Friday. Lashley and the Street Profits stood tall after a brief post-match attack.
As previously announced, Asuka will challenge IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Championship. Asuka gained more momentum on Friday with a win over Bayley.
The updated card for the September 22 episode of WWE SmackDown is as follows:
- Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar vs. The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins)
- WWE Women’s Championship: IYO SKY (c) vs. Asuka
WrestleZone will have live coverage of WWE SmackDown as it airs on September 22.
