Don Callis has set his sights on Kota Ibushi.
On the September 13 episode of AEW Dynamite, Don Callis hyped up Konosuke Takeshita’s two wins over Kenny Omega. He proclaimed that Takeshita was now “The Alpha.” Callis made it clear that they still weren’t satisfied, as they wanted to break Omega’s heart.
With that in mind, Callis revealed that their next target was Omega’s close friend Kota Ibushi. He vowed that they would “butcher” Ibushi and leave him a bloody mess. Callis also called Omega a “pathetic cuck” as he noted that the former world champion would be forced to watch helplessly from home.
Ibushi made his AEW in-ring debut on the Blood & Guts edition of AEW Dynamite. There, he teamed up with The Elite to defeat Blackpool Combat Club. Ibushi returned for AEW All In at Wembley Stadium. There, Blackpool Combat Club defeated Ibushi, Kenny Omega, and Hangman Page.
