Samantha Irvin is one of the WWE ringside announcers. She recently came to the defense of Dominik Mysterio and his segment.
Dominik Mysterio has been one of the most hated wrestlers of all time. Every time he shows up, the arena erupts with constant boos. It all began the moment he turned on his father Rey Mysterio and Edge at the WWE Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event. Since then, he joined the Judgment Day, and whenever he lifts the microphone to speak, the crowd boos him out.
This past week on Monday Night Raw, the boos were so loud that when Dirty Dom was speaking on the microphone people were unable to hear him at all. This did not sit well with a few members of the WWE Universe. Some fans took to Twitter to accuse the Stamford-based promotion and its production team. They claimed that the production team purposefully lowered Dominik Mysterio’s microphone to make it feel like he was receiving loud boos.
This caught the eye of Samantha Irvin. She replied to the message claiming that there were no alterations done by the production team. Irvin also mentioned that it was one of the loudest reactions ever.
“One week the crowd “isn’t reacting enough”- the next week we get the LOUDEST reactions ever and we mad at production you know y’all could just ask me instead of looking like bonafide haters just lmk,” Samantha Irvin tweeted.
Irvin was recently involved in a storyline between her boyfriend Ricochet and YouTube sensation Logan Paul. Their rivalry seemingly came to an end at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event after the Maverick defeated the One and Only.
