If Tony Khan has his way, the Ring of Honor Women’s division will be represented on All Out Zero Hour.
All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan hosted an All Out Media Call. When asked about the implementation of Ring of Honor into this weekend’s All Out pay-per-view, Khan made it a point to mention how much he would like to get Athena and Billie Starkz involved on Zero Hour.
“We have a great women’s world champion, Athena. I’ve been looking to get Athena involved, and I’ll just be super honest about this,” Tony Khan said. “I really like what we’re doing with Athena and Billie Starkz. I have a lot of fun booking the women’s wrestling on Ring of Honor; I like working with them. They had a great match recently on the show. They’ll be on ROH again tonight.
“I was with Billie Starkz at the arena last night and waiting for her to get cleared because she had an injury. I don’t think it’s anything [that’s] going to be long-term or super serious, and hopefully she’ll be back soon, but I was hoping to get Athena and Billie both involved. Now, if Billie does get cleared, I’m still optimistic I could get them a match on the Zero Hour and put together a great Zero Hour.
ROH Women’s Division
“But Billie and Athena have something really going great on Ring of Honor, and Athena is a great world champion, and I’ve really, really enjoyed this great run now dating back a year almost to Final Battle. You asked me about the ROH pay-per-views. And Athena has been a great champion, I think dating back to Final Battle. And fittingly enough, that will be a great Ring of Honor event.
“We’re planning to have Final Battle in December. It was a great event for us, very successful last year. So I’m looking forward to that. But Athena has been a very active, competitive world champion. I’m having a lot of fun with that run and was planning to get Athena involved. I’m still thinking either way that’ll happen. But I’m optimistic she’ll be able to have a match involving Billie Starkz, and they’ve been doing some really cool stuff.”
