Tyler Breeze Reveals His Favorite Opponents From His Run In WWE NXT

Tyler Breeze reveals some of his favorite opponents from WWE.

While he may no longer be an in-ring performer for WWE, Tyler Breeze looks back on some of his fond memories in the company. During a recent appearance on Ikuzo Unscripted, Breeze reflected back on his stint in the “black and gold” era of WWE NXT. Breeze’s initial NXT run spanned from 2012 until 2015, when he received his main roster call-up. Breeze later returned to NXT in late 2018 alongside Fandango. Together as Breezango, the duo later won the NXT Tag Team Championship.

Amidst this conversation, Breeze was asked to name of his favorite performers to work with inside the wrestling ring.

“That was an interesting [period], because at the time, our roster was kind of a who’s who of at that time, everybody knew their stuff,” Breeze said. “So I had a lot of fun working with Enzo [Amore] and [Big] Cass, I had a lot of fun working with the Vaudevillains, American Alpha. Those are just that’s the tag teams. [I liked working with] The Revival. At the time, that whole tag team scene was great.”

The Other Side

In analyzing his work in singles competition, Breeze noted that he enjoyed squaring off with the likes of Sami Zayn, Hideo Itami (aka KENTA), and Neville.

“Then on the other side of it, I loved working with Hideo, Finn [Balor], Neville, Zayn. I had some really fun ones even with like Bull Dempsey, Baron Corbin. There was a good group that really, it didn’t matter who you kind of put in and who you took out. It was going to be fun. And I think every one of them was really good. Samoa Joe, I had some really fun with Joe. I’d say probably the one that I wrestled, maybe even the most would be Neville. I really, really liked working with Neville. He can do anything, you know what I mean? So, he was probably really, really fun. And Hideo, KENTA, I really liked working with him.”
