Kenzie Paige had a drastic twist of fate at NWA 75.
The National Wrestling Alliance kicked off NWA 75, the company’s 75th anniversary show, on August 26. The main card kicked off with Kenzie Paige defending the NWA World Women’s Television Championship against Max the Impaler. Max won the bout and dethroned Paige, but Kenzie’s luck turned around.
Later in the show, several competitors battled it out in the Burke Invitational Gauntlet, where the winner would earn a shot at the NWA World Women’s Championship. Paige surprisingly entered the match first as a late addition. In the end, the bout came down to Allysin Kay, Ruthie Jay, Kenzie Paige, and Max the Impaler.
Jay, Paige, and Allysin Kay teamed up to eliminate Max. Kay and Paige were the final two, and Kenzie eliminated Kay to win the match. As a result, she will challenge for the NWA World Women’s Championship at NWA 75.
The order of entrants is as follows:
- Kenzie Paige (entered the match first as a new addition to the match)
- Taylor Rising (eliminated by Samantha Starr)
- Ruthie Jay (Allysin Kay)
- Heather Monroe (off-screen elimination)
- Samantha Starr (MJ Jenkins)
- Allysin Kay (Kenzie Paige)
- MJ Jenkins (Kenzie Paige)
- CJ (Allysin Kay)
- Labrava Escobar (Kenzie Paige)
- The WOAD (Max the Impaler)
- Sierra (Max the Impaler)
- Max the Impaler (Kenzie Paige, Allysin Kay, and Ruthie Jay)
