Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus‘ latest bout didn’t end the way either superstar wanted, with the match coming to an end in a double count-out.
During tonight’s WWE RAW, the pair once again took to the ring in an effort to settle their months-long feud. Instead, things broke down to a brawl, with neither Stratus nor Lynch able to get the upper hand in the match.
In the end, the pair would take themselves outside of the ring after Lynch hit a big superplex. Unfortunately for the pair, they would both be counted out, leading to a no-contest in the match. Despite the no context, Lynch and Stratus continued fighting after things were over, going all the way up the stairs of the arena and into the concourse.
The two began brawling by food stands, merch areas, and more. Eventually, it came to an end with Zoey Stark appearing to help Stratus, distracting Lynch in the brawl to allow Stratus to knock out Lynch with a Chick Kick.
With Stratus and Stark bragging backstage, Adam Pearce — who had been trying to set up a match between the pair for weeks now — stormed up to the duo. Pearce said that WWE had been promising a match between the two for some time now, and now, in order to make sure nothing else happens, the two will face off inside of a Steel Cage.
