Piper Niven is back, and she has declared herself the new partner of reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Chelsea Green.
During a backstage segment on the August 14 episode of WWE RAW, Green and Adam Pearce could be seen talking about the future of Green’s tag team titles now that Sonya Deville out with a torn ACL. As she did, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance made it clear that they wanted a shot at the belts whenever Green finds a new partner.
Just a few moments later, that would happen. Niven surprised everyone by appearing and ambushing both Carter and Chance. She then snatched one of the titles out of Green’s hands and announced herself the champion’s new partner, much to Green’s shock.
For Niven, this was her first time back with WWE since wrestling during a live event in June. Green and Niven briefly teamed up together in March 2023 before Green formed her team with Deville.
