Tony Khan says he can’t comment on the situation with CM Punk and Hangman Page. However, he’s happy people are interested in AEW in the ring and outside of it.
Punk made heated comments about Page after the August 12 episode of AEW Collision went off the air. Page was reportedly set to be in town to do a pre-tape, but he was told it had to be shot away from the venue.
In an interview with Tim Battle and Eli on the Battleground Podcast, Khan was asked about the situation. He noted that he couldn’t comment, but he was happy people are interested in AEW.
“No, not really. But I thought it was a great show Saturday night, and I don’t have any further comment to that. But I am glad people are still very interested in our wrestlers and what’s happening after the wrestling shows. Certainly, there has been a lot of interest in AEW, in and out of the ring.”
