Kurt Angle shares his thoughts on the long-running Bloodline story that has been featured on WWE programming since 2020.
After Roman Reigns’ win at WWE SummerSlam, Heyman stated that the Bloodline story was only in the bottom of the third inning.
Speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, the WWE Hall of Famer shared his thoughts on Heyman’s claim. He stated that he felt like the storyline is actually in the eighth inning, and they’re stressed.
“I will tell you this. The storyline’s great, I love it. But I think Heyman’s full of sh—. I think they’re in the eighth inning, and they’re stressed,” Angle said. “They don’t know what to do now. That’s what I believe. Paul Heyman, I know him, and I know that he’s f**cking going crazy right now [laughs]. What do we do next?’ The storyline is great.”
Angle subsequently joked that WWE could have Reigns break Bruni Sammartino’s record for the longest world title run of 2.803 days.
Paul Heyman Responds To Kurt Angle
Paul Heyman himself took note of Angle’s comments in a tweet. He stated that, no matter what inning they’re in, at least “we’re not looking for exposure thru the next Old Timer’s Day.”
Heyman also joked that he tweeted the tweet with a broken fingernail.
In the latest chapter of the story, Jey Uso seemingly walked out of WWE at the end of the August 11 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Heyman has also stated that the Bloodline story doesn’t drag on, as they keep adding layers.
