Nick Aldis is reportedly in town ahead of the August 7 episode of WWE RAW.
Aldis was arguably the face of NWA for several years, but he left the company when his contract expired in January 2023. He then returned to IMPACT at the Rebellion pay-per-view and was featured there for a few months. The former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion wrapped up with IMPACT Wrestling after the Slammiversary in July.
PWInsider subsequently reported that WWE was interested in him, potentially for a producer role. Aldis recently stated that he couldn’t confirm or deny the rumors that he was heading to WWE.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Aldis is in Minneapolis ahead of the August 7 episode of WWE RAW. Per Johnson, Aldis is being brought in for a potential producer role, and he will be at multiple TV tapings.
“The National Treasure” recently pulled out of upcoming independent bookings due to a back injury.
After Slammiversary, Nick Aldis reflected on main-eventing the show and noted that it was an honor.
