WWE SmackDown viewership bounced back with the show’s return to FOX.
Wrestlenomics reports that 2.323 million viewers tuned in on July 28. This number is up last week, when 1.230 million viewers watched the show on FS1. SmackDown aired on FS1 due to the FIFA Women’s World Cup last week. The previous week, 2.309 viewers watched SmackDown on FOX.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.61 rating. This number is also up from last week (0.36 rating in the same demographic). The July 14 episode on FOX scored a 0.62.

The July 28 episode of WWE SmackDown featured the finals of the United States Championship Invitational. Santos Escobar defeated Rey Mysterio when the referee stopped the bout due to an apparent injury to Mysterio.
