WWE is starting to fill out the card for the August 1 episode of WWE NXT.
As announced during NXT Great American Bash, Lyra Valkyria will face Jacy Jayne. Valkyria is coming off an impressive performance in defeat against Rhea Ripley on the July 25 episode. Ripley told Lyra to prove her right by facing Jayne, who has been engaged in a heated rivalry with Valkyria. Jayne attacked Valkyria backstage during WWE NXT Great American Bash.
Plus, Eddy Thorpe will face Dijak in a singles match on Tuesday, as the two stars have been feuding in recent weeks. Dijak took issue with the attention Thorpe got after he beat Damon Kemp in an NXT Underground match.
Additionally, Schism will hold an interrogation as they questioned their masked group members in an attempt to find a mole.
The card for the August 1 episode of WWE NXT is as follows:
- Lyra Valkyria vs. Jacy Jayne
- Eddy Thorpe vs. Dijak
- Schism Interrogation
NXT Great American Bash
WWE presented NXT Great American Bash on July 30. The action-packed show kicked off with Gallus defending the NXT Tag Team Championship against “Stacks” and Tony D’Angelo. In the main event, Ilja Dragunov challenged Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship.
Elsewhere on the show, Dominik Mysterio put the NXT North American Championship on the line in a Triple Threat Match. The event’s fourth title match saw Tiffany Stratton defend the NXT Championship against Thea Hail in a Submission Match.
