Roxanne Perez recently had a full circle moment with a young fan at a recent meet and greet.
NXT Superstar Roxanne Perez was a recent guest on Busted Open Radio. When it was mentioned that her upcoming match at Great American Bash could inspire the next generation to want to become wrestlers, Perez admitted that was pretty cool and went on to share a great story in the process.
“That is pretty cool,” Roxanne Perez admitted. “It was actually — so this past weekend we were at a live event, and I did a meet and greet. There was a little girl she was probably like 11 or 12 years old. And she came up to me, and this is the first time this has happened to me, but she just started bawling her eyes out and was just like, ‘Thank you so much. You inspire me so much. I can’t believe that I’m actually meeting you.’
“She’s like, ‘I want to be a wrestler. I’m gonna start training, and what made me realize I wanted to be a wrestler was your and Cora Jade’s feud.’ And I was like, that is so insane to me. It’s so crazy because I was that little girl going up to my favorite wrestlers and bawling my eyes out and telling them that one day I was going to be a wrestler. Now for little girls to be coming up to me is insane. But that’s what I always wanted to do. That was always like my main goal is to just inspire a younger generation.”
