NWA Powerrr Stream And Results (7/25): Junior Heavyweight Title Match

The National Wrestling Alliance delivered an action-packed show with the July 25 episode of NWA Powerrr.

Among other bouts, Kerry Morton defended the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship against Matt Vine. Plus, Trevor Murdoch and Mike Knox faced Russ Jones and Schaff.

The results are as follows:

  • Carnage (with Aron Stevens) def. Jax Dane (with Chris Silvio) via count-out after Stevens hit Dane with the “loaded glove.” Dax was unable to get back to the ring in time for the count. Dane stared commentator Tim Storm down after the match. After a break, Dane said commentary was his job.
  • Mike Knox & Trevor Murdoch def. Russ Jones & Schaff
  • In an interview, Mims previews his match with Blake Troop.
  • Blake Troop (with Chris Silvio, Esq.) def. Mims via stoppage when Mims seemingly passed out in an ankle lock.
  • In an interview, Eric Jackson looks ahead to his tag team match next week. Fodder, alongside Angelina Love, interrupts, and says he’ll destroy Jackson when they face off.
  • Non-Title: Jordan Clearwater & Odinson def. NWA United States Tag Team Champions The Country Gentlemen (AJ Cazana & Anthony Andrews) vs.
  • Danny Deals hosts DLZ and says Mims is on his way to the hospital. He bumps into NWA World Women’s Champion Kamille. Deals says Tyrus is out with injuries, but he’ll be back for NWA 75. NWA World Television Champion Thom Latimer makes a cameo. Kamille says he’ll use his Lucky Seven option to win the world title.
  • May Valentine asks Dak Draper for an update on Mims. Draper says the doctors told him it’s a bad hamstring injury, but he’s expected to make a full recovery. Draper brings up the NWA National Heavyweight Championship and vows to prove he can hang with a star like Chris Adonis next week.

NWA Champion Lands Big Role

NWA World Women’s Champion Kamille recently announced that she wrapped filming for Queen of the Ring. She noted that she played former champion June Byers in the film. The cast also includes Trinity Fatu and Jim Cornette. Queen of the Ring is based on legendary women’s wrestler Mildred Burke.
