Nikki Garcia put up a valiant effort in cornhole last weekend.
On Friday, July 7, Nikki Garcia made her way to Milwaukee to compete in the ongoing Johnsonville SuperHole IV preliminary Pro-Am for the American Cornhole League. This event is a part of the ACL’s annual multi-event celebrity cornhole (or “bags”) tournament series. In this series, 32 celebrities are paired with ACL pros as they compete for the charity of their choice. The tournament will then culminate at the Johnsonville SuperHole IV championship in Rock Hill, South Carolina on August 4.
The latest preliminary featured the following celebrities: WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Garcia (fka Nikki Bella), Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones, country music star Tyler Hubbard, and former NFL player and Internet personality Spice Adams.
The opening round saw Spice Adams and his ACL pro Dave Morse face off against Aaron Jones and his ACL pro Yetty Irwan. Adams and Morse proved to be stiff competition. In the end, though, Jones and Irwan secured the win, edging their opponents by one point. With this win, Jones and Irwan advanced to the final round.
In round two, Tyler Hubbard teamed with ACL pro partner Dayton Webber to take on Nikki Garcia and her ACL pro Eric Zocklein. Ultimately, Garcia and Zocklein clutched the victory.
After the opening contests concluded, it was time for the final round of this preliminary event. Nikki Garcia and Eric Zocklein vs. Aaron Jones and Yetty Irwan. Garcia and Zocklein put forth a valiant effort. It was Jones and Irwan who emerged victorious, though, as they claimed the title of SuperHole IV Preliminary #7 Champions.
Nikki Garcia isn’t the only pro wrestling figure competing in this year’s Johnsonville SuperHole event. In May, 14-time world champion Charlotte Flair participated in the third leg of the tournament.
