On July 8, Major League Wrestling taped matches for MLW Fusion before and after MLW Never Say Never from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Matches will air on upcoming episodes of MLW Fusion.

Before MLW Never Say Never
Bomaye Fight Club Tryout Match: Mr. Thomas (with O’Shay Edwards) defeated J Boujii
- Despite the loss, Boujii was offered a spot in the Bomaye Fight Club after the match.
MLW Middleweight Champion AKIRA cut a promo. Jacob Fatu interrupted, and they got physical. They faced off in a match that had several run-ins and ended without a clear winner.
B3CCA defeated Tiara James
- Love, Doug joined the commentary team and was acting like an obsessed fan of B3CCA.
Rickey Shane Page defeated Matthew Justice
Ichiban defeated TJ Crawford
Scramble Match: Willie Mack def. Love Doug, O’Shay Edwards, Ken Broadway, and Nolo Kitano.
After MLW Never Say Never
Snisky (with Mister Saint Laurent) defeated Yoscifer El.
Micro Man & Mane Event (Jay Lyon & Midas Black) defeated The FBI (Little Guido & Ray Jaz) & Jesus Rodriguez.
Second Gear Crew (1 Called Manders & Matthew Justice) defeated The Calling’s Delirious & a masked competitor and The Samoan SWAT Team (Juicy Finau & Lance Anoa’i)
MLW Featherweight & WXW Women’s Champion Delmi Exo defeated Paris Van Dale.
Micro Man vs. Sam Adonis ended in a no-contest.
Second Gear Crew made the save and held a beer bash to end the show.

Make Or Break Moment
Alex Kane recently spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard. Kane said a show like Never Say Never is extremely important. Kane said he considers his match against Hammerstone as a make-or-break moment.
“We’re already on the map but the impact hasn’t been big enough,” Alex Kane said. “I know with the Reelz deal like we’ve reached a certain demographic that nobody else is really touching. I think with it being live and that demographic, being able to reach even deeper into that demographic will be extremely beneficial for us.
“Every big moment I’ve had in MLW has been a test, and this is like the final. It’s not the final exam but it’s [a huge test]. Can I perform under this kind of pressure or not? This is like a make or break moment, in my opinion.
“So I definitely think this is very, very important. For now, if I do end up beating [Alex] Hammerstone, that’ll be kind of like the tone-setting for me. Whatever happens in the future, if I’m not with MLW, like, wrestling on one of the other two big brands. There’s a lot in the backpack for me right now.”
